Solutions & Funds wins longstanding FINMA expert
Philip Hinsen will join the fund management company Solutions & Funds as Head of Legal & Compliance, as of 1st of May. The fund law expert brings along many years of experience in Asset Management and strong connections within the fund industry.
Philip Hinsen will assume leadership of the Legal & Compliance division of the fund management company Solutions & Funds (S&F) as of May 2023. The 37-year-old fund law expert most recently worked at FINMA for 12 years in the Asset Management division, and for nine of those years he was Head of Authorization Asset Management. His remit included the licencing of institutes and products in the Swiss fund industry and helping develop the national and international requirements in the context of asset management. He was responsible for running FINMA’s entire Asset Management division on an interim basis. Philip Hinsen began his career as a legal assistant at the University of Basel and the Bär & Karrer law firm. In addition to completing the Advanced Executive Program of the Swiss Finance Institutes (SFI), Hinsen is currently enrolled in the Executive-MBA course at the University of St. Gallen.
